Quinton saves the day!

Quinton took some pics of the wedding, thank goodness for that. Here are random pics of the ones he took of Brandon, Jesse, his parents and grandparents. Jeremy (jesse's other bro) didn't go to the wedding so the only one missing is Quinton because he was behind the camera. I guess we'll still have to wait on a pic of everyone together.

Gigi and Papa's Pool

I think the thing I'm most excited about is Leva learning how to swim. Gigi and Papa worked with him, actually everyone helped. At first he was swimming with the floaties but after the first wk he got sick of them and threw them off. I can't believe how big he's getting! We have to be careful now because it doesn't matter where he is in the pool or if anyone's near him or even in the pool, he just jumps right in and starts swimming. If he gets close to the stairs in the pool instead of stepping on them to rest and catch his breath, he turns around under water and tries to swim back to you. He's always loved the water. I'm soo excited to get to Hawaii and see what he can learn to do there!

this is just a short video of what he's been doing while we've been here.

Sanford Zoo

This is probably the busiest vacation I've been on. Gigi had something planned almost everyday of the two weeks that we've been here. It was nice to see the different parts of Florida and not have to think, plan or do anything but choose what we wanted to do and sit in the car. She really knows how to show people a good time. One of the things we did while in Fl was go to the zoo. I have to admit the day we went was bloody hot! It was the record breaking hottest day in Fl. Still, it was nice to have Leva see all the animals. He was excited to see the leopards, which he thought were tigers of course and wouldn't stop saying tigers and growling the whole time. Little sister slept as soon as we got there and didn't wake til we were done. We were in the gift shop and I put these funky glasses on her. While I was taking the picture, you can see her little hand moving up to rip the glasses off her face. Lucky me, I got the pic before she did it!

Flagler Beach

These are a few pics of us at the beach. Whenever we had a spare moment we were either at the beach or in the pool. It was great because the beach was only a short ten min drive from the house. The first time we went Leva had to get used to the water but the second time wasn't so bad. I think it was because there was actual movement of the water, he was a little scared. Gigi- that's what we call Jesse's mom. She prefers that to grandma, i think its cute. Well she bought the kids a bunch of beach toys and Leva wouldn't let go of the little toy truck for most of the time we were here. We had to hide it or put it up, but everytime it was out he wouldn't let it go. We'll def be taking it with us on the plane. Ke'ala wouldn't stop eating sand. We had to hold her or put her up on the blanket otherwise she'd go crazy with the sand. I don't think anyone will be able to recognize our son once we're in Hawaii for a while. He already has a pretty dark tan line...

St Augustine

Gigi and the fam were nice enough to give Jesse and me a day off alone while we're here in Fl. One of their friends were out of town so they let us use their house for a night. We had a good time, the best part was the house was just around the corner from their home so we didn't have to travel too far to get away. We spent the day in St Augustine which is the first and oldest city in the U.S. It's a cool town. There's a lot of shopping to do, places to eat, a bunch of history in that town. The coolest thing I thought was that all the stores were in the original buildings that were here when they first built the town. So it wasn't like they just built all the buildings to look old, they've been around since the 1500's or 1600's and on.. We went to the fountain of youth and drank from the spring. We also took a scenic cruise around St. Augustine which takes you around the city on water to the Light House Museum and around the area on water.. It was weird to play tourist for the day... we weren't sure what to do with ourselves but it was nice to pick and choose and have the option to blow the day if we wanted to for the day. I guess thats what happens when you've got kids! lol

Kelly's wedding

These are the few pictures we took on Kelly's wedding day. I wish we had more of everyone, or at least one of the bride and groom but Jesse had the camera. I think it's a typical guy thing... the only day he was in charge of the camera and I told him I wanted pics of everyone and this is what we ended up with. Four or five pics of us.. lol. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Gigi sends us to have pics of the fam. It felt like the hottest day ever, we were all sweating as soon as we exited the temple so we didn't stay too long outside. Probably because we were all dressed up. It was a nice reception and it was nice to meet the rest of Jesse's family, finally after 3 yrs.. In all the pics we took Ke'ala was sticking her tongue out. It's this new thing she's been doing for a while.. oh well at least you can kind of tell when she's smiling and has her tongue out..lol

Florida

So we're in Palm Coast, Fl and its been really nice to visit with the family and take a break from packing and moving. We've been here for a week so far and the first wk has been kinda hectic with preparing for Kelly's wedding on Friday. Now that its all over, this wk (hopefully), will be the relaxing wk for our family. Today is the first day that we were able to do nothing all day. Hurray for Sundays! Everyone's taking their sunday nap so i thought i'd do some light blogging before the crowd wakes up. The kids have been swimming whenever we have the time to squeeze it in and its been a blast. Leva is crazy about the water, he's great at swimming with his floaties but he can tell that they slow him down so after a while he always asks to take it off and swim with out them. This crazy boy will jump in the water with out them and whats worse is he'll do them in parts of the pool where no one is around..the deep end..
