My alarm for sleepy time. He's been singing pretty much since a month old, I think. It takes the work out of singing him to sleep, he does it himself!

Salesi hit his 4 month mark on the 21st of August. I started him on solids, he wasn't digging it at first but warmed up to it after a few try's at the spoon. He loves to suck on his fist , watch tv and as Leva would say, chomp his feet. He enjoys sitting in the bumbo and just like his older broski he sings himself to sleep. I love it, it's like having an alarm letting me know it's time to sleep.. Except for the times when I am on the phone, or sitting in sacrament actually ALL of church, watching a movie, or any tv... Hmm where was I going with this? Kidding, I really do love it, I love his little tooth that FINALLY cut thru and all the drool that comes with it.

Salesi has taken to watching tv. It is the funniest and cutest thing. He's definitely more animated then his siblings were as babies.. Well .. Sesi did have some pretty crazy faces, safe to say they are neck and neck. He thought Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was pretty cool.

50 States song

A short video of the song Leva has been singing everyday. At his Kindergarten orientation, a teacher had mentioned that Kindergarten is much harder than it used to be. No kidding, I remember learning the 50 States in the 5th grade back in the day! The younger kids have already begun to pick up on the State song so they can sing along too.

First Day of School!!

Leva started Junior Kindergarten this year, we were so excited for him to go to school. He was much more excited than we were. I never thought the kids would attend the same school that I went to as a kid, I guess it goes to show, you never know what the future will bring. I started my 5th grade year at Honaunau Elementary. Back then, this was a K-8 school but now it's K-5. I tried to convince him to get any backpack besides the one he chose. Lately he has been obsessed with throwing a shaka, or hang loose, sign. It's basically in any picture I've taken of him.

Over the past couple of days I've looked over the contents of our blog and I can't believe how long I've kept up with it. I seriously thought I'd give it up now that I never seem to have the time or energy, but after all is said and done, I really am glad that I took the time to record some part of our lives. Even though some weren't detailed and I threw pictures up just like this post! ha! I looked back at the beginning of this and went through pictures and videos, it was fun to see and remember things that somehow slipped through our memories. In an attempt to keep it going, here are some happenings from last month that I found on my camera.
