Work and Play

Over the weekend we bought the kids a pool from Walmart. We went with the 8ft size pool instead of the 5 ft and I'm glad we did, it was big enough for Jesse and me to get in with the kids and still have room to play. It was a perfect day today. The sun was shining and there was a cool breeze throughout the day. Jesse and I pulled weeds in the taro patch. I lasted about 5 minutes and got in the pool with the kids. So I guess I should say, Jesse pulled weeds by himself for a few hrs, Leva helped some and then went back to swim.



Reenacting the scene from "The Little Rascals", when Porky and Buckwheat go fishing. They're using the handles from their buckets, what an imagination! They're using the buckets as chairs.

Aloooha!

Our trip to Hawaii was as smooth as it could be with 3 young kids and a 33 wk prego lady. Jesse got to escort us to the gate in Vegas and he hung out with us until we boarded the plane. The trip went better than I ever could have imagined. The kids took a nap and watched a couple of movies. They stayed seated for the whole flight, which is what I was worried about the most. Our flight was even delayed after we boarded the plane so we sat in the plane on the runway for an hour before we departed Vegas. You wouldn't have thought that these kids were hyperactive, dragon acting, dragon roaring screamers after being with them for 7& 1/2 hrs on the plane. Heavenly Father was very kind to me yesterday.

This morning the kids were excited to get outdoors and get dirty. Grampa let them do a little weeding in his garden. It's nice to be back.

The pictures are of our trip, starting in Vegas, naps on the plane, the Wikiwiki shuttle in Oahu and Grampas taro patch. They aren't in order. I was surprised to see Sesi sitting so still on the shuttle after we got off the first plane ride. His older siblings were a little more excited to be out and about.

Random

These are random pics I had left on my camera. Jesse's parents and Quinton came to visit for Christmas. December was a very busy month for Jesse and I. I'm halfway thru with this pregnancy, actually I think I'm five months now and I'll hit my 6 month mark, my third trimester this month! EEk!! I'm tired just thinking about it. We had Sesi's bday, which I didn't take pictures of because my camera was dead. We had his cousins over and all the kids helped decorate sugar cookies for his 2nd bday. I had my bday a week later and Jesse took me out to lunch and we spent an hour or two together before he had to leave to work. The following week we celebrated our 6 yr anniversary!!!! My sis Ini got us a room in Green Valley and my mother in law watched the kids the 2 nights we were away from home. While Brett and Laverne were here we took them to do some things they'd been wanting to do. Laverne had never seen snow, these pictures are of us at Brian Head, Ut. They also wanted to see Red Rock so we took them there the week before. Sesi loved throwing snowballs, that's all he did while we were there. It was a fun and crazy month and now that everyone's gone, we are ready to get back in business for the new year!
















A couple of halloween pics are the only one's I took of the kids after all the trick or treating we did. Sesi was a robber, Leva was a ninja but we left the other piece of his costume in the car when i took this pic so he looks just like sesi, my little candy thieves. I put Ke'ala in last yrs costume because I put her in a princess costume for the first trunk or treat we went to and she wanted it off after 5 minutes. Comfort is key with this girl.

Latu's Baptism

My nephew,Latu, turned 8 in October and we were blessed to have Lusi and Wes here so we can be a part of the program. It's crazy how fast time goes by. I remember when I used to dress him up in girls clothes and take pics of him when he was a baby. Leva loves his best buddy and wants to go to school and get baptized just like Latu did. We love you Latu!!

Diva turned 3

We had a bbq at the park for Ke'ala's third birthday since my mom and dad were still in town visiting us. It's so nice to have all the little kiddies around to keep each other company. I gave lusi my camera to take pics since I was setting stuff up. It was a nice day.
